Guanghan library was founded in 24 years in the Republic of China. Its predecessor was the Guanghan County Library. Mr. Dai has donated more than 4000 books of ancient books, such as "four library books", "thirteen classics Annotation" and other 4000 volumes of ancient book line books, plus various celebrities fund-raising, in the city of Xuanhua road Wenchang palace renovated library, covers an area of 3 mu, the Republic of China in 26 years (1937) was completed in March, and officially opened in June. After the founding of new China, the Guanghan county library moved to the Red Mansion of Guanghan Park and had more than 16000 books. In 1956, the Guanghan county library was set up, with 15213 volumes of books. In July 1988, the Guanghan county library was changed to the "Guanghan library" by withdrawing from the county to build the city, with more than 9 books. In October 1989, it invested 1 million 500 thousand and rebuilt the library in Jiujiang road. It is known as "a pearl on the West Sichuan plain".
In order to meet the needs of the development of the library, the Guanghan library has been rebuilt in the new style center of the eastern section of Hankou road by the Guanghan library, which is open to the readers in October 1, 2012. The building area is 6160 square meters.
